Voice and content

The Monk Business identity is built on geometric lettering, the orbital symbol, the detached teal K accent and a graphite-first palette. The words follow the same idea: warm, direct and calm, like a senior engineer explaining things to a customer over coffee.

Voice

Section titled “Voice”
  • Write Brazilian Portuguese first, then a natural English version (same warmth, not a literal translation).
  • Speak as the team, in the first person plural, and talk to the reader as “você”: “nossos serviços”, “nosso produto SOA”, “ajudamos sua equipe a…”. In English: “we”, “our”, “you”.
  • Use the company name sparingly: page titles, the first mention on a page, legal text and the footer. In running copy, never “o produto X da Monk Business” or “A Monk Business faz…”.
  • Be human and friendly: show you understand the customer’s situation (deadlines, regulation, systems that can’t stop), then say plainly how we help. Confident, never salesy: no hype words, no emoji, at most one exclamation mark per page.
  • Companies take the feminine article in Portuguese: “a IBM”, “a Pinterest”, “a ABR Telecom”, “a Anatel”.
  • Be technical without jargon for its own sake: short sentences, concrete nouns, no exclamation marks in headings.
  • Use sentence case for headings, buttons and nav (“Pedir orçamento”, “Como trabalhamos”). Uppercase only in the eyebrow style.
  • Never state facts the company has not confirmed: no client names, metrics, certifications, partnerships, response times or prices. Prices are always “orçamento sob consulta”.
  • Use the correct telecom terms: Portabilidade Numérica, ABR Telecom (Entidade Administradora), BDR, BDO, prestadora doadora / receptora, Origem Verificada (STIR/SHAKEN).
  • Put phone numbers, flows and technology names in the mono style: +55 11 4000-0000 → BDR → BDO.

The assistant

The chat assistant speaks for the company in the same voice:

  • It says it is an AI.
  • It answers only about Monk Business.
  • It never quotes prices or deadlines.
  • It offers the contact form or WhatsApp when it cannot help.

Its interface states (lead confirmation, closed conversation, busy) are part of the ChatWidget.
